Riku Rusanen is a visionary global leader in workplace strategy and design, currently driving Nokia’s transformation of the workplace experience across Europe, the Middle East & Africa, and beyond. As Workplace Strategy & Design Lead, he aligns Nokia’s physical environments with its business strategy, culture, and innovation agenda — creating spaces that inspire performance, collaboration, and wellbeing.
Career Achievements
With over 25 years of international experience, Riku has delivered more than 150 workplace design projects, optimized 250,000 sqm of Nokia’s real estate, and transformed over 500,000 sqm of office space for more than 50 occupiers. He led the creation of Nokia’s global workplace design concept, setting a new standard for future-ready work environments. Under his leadership, Nokia One HQ in Espoo earned an International Property Award in 2020.
Riku oversees global procurement strategy and execution for design and architectural services, managing a network of 20+ external firms to ensure consistent design excellence and operational efficiency worldwide.
